Abstract

Examples of calculated distribution of temperature isolines in the workpiece formed in the mold for the manufacture of a ring of thermoplastic ceramic material based on SiC are given. The procedure for preparing a specimen from the workpiece for microhardness testing is described. The indentation of specimen has been carried out and the injection imprints at different loading forces on the indenter were obtained. The dependence of hardness on load force is defined. A 3D-map of the hardness distribution along the plane of the axial section of the specimen was plotted.
