RESEARCH OF THE TECHNOLOGY OF MANUFACTURING HYDROMONITOR DRILLS HOUSING WITH OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS
Abstract
The influence of heat treatment parameters of steels on their impact strength has determined, as well as the optimization of technological methods to ensure the best mechanical properties of hydraulic monitor drills..
During the work, it was established that isothermal treatment makes it possible to increase the value of impact strength for 35ХГСА steel to 69 J/cm2, while maintaining the strength of the hydraulic drill body at the level of 50 HRC. Isothermal hardening in molten salt was adopted as the heat treatment mode for the selected steel grade 35 ХГСА.
Maximum strength (wear resistance) for 35KhGSA steel can be obtained by low- and medium-temperature tempering, and low-temperature tempering of 35ХГСА steel is characterized by a drop in impact toughness. Therefore, for the manufacture of a hydraulic drill, it is recommended to choose domestically produced steel grade 35ХГСА
