INVESTIGATION OF MICROINDENTATION OF SIC, WC, AlN CERAMIC PARTICLES COMPENSATION IN SEMI-FINISHES IN THE SHAPE OF A SPHERE WITH A HOLE OBTAINED BY INJECTION MOLDING
Abstract
Computer modeling has become an integral part of the work of a design engineer, which has significantly accelerated and reduced the cost of the transition from design to production by reducing the number of industrial tests.
The purpose of the research: supplementing the simulation results with information about the final compaction of the material in the slowest cooling zone due to additional pressing.
Research methods: information and analytical research, computer modeling, mechanical tests.
Research results: a three-dimensional microhardness map was constructed for the cross-section of the test sample, which confirmed the fact of compaction of ceramic particles and the formation of large agglomerates in the central zone of the slowest cooling.
Practical significance: the obtained information will allow to optimize the process of preparation of plastic ceramic masses and formation of semi-finished products at the stage of casting into a press mold
